Wow this is big news!!! Adventure Bay Charters have an exclusive deal for budget travellers that would like to go shark cage diving in the next three months!!
Matt Waller, owner and all round great guy has bargained and fought on your behalf to get a great deal for those who want the chance to get in the water with the Great White Sharks, Australian Sea Lions and Southern Bluefin Tuna. Of course these tours aren’t new for Adventure Bay Charters but the best part of the deal is that we have now secured a great rate on accommodation and transport to Port Lincoln.
We are excited to offer this all in one package deal for just $699… AMAZING VALUE!!
Included in the package is:
• Transport from Adelaide to Port Lincoln
• Two nights’ accommodation
• Great White Shark cage diving
• Swim with the Sea Lions and Tuna.
We also have a rate for people that have their own transport or own accommodation. Get in touch with Adventure Bay Charters to find out more about this unbeatable package. We are very excited about this product and think that it fills all the requirements for the backpacker/budget conscious market – especially the amazing price, leaving extra $$ in your pocket for beer! YIPPEE!!!!
In other news, there have been many Great White Sharks about at the moment and we are still seeing up to three or four Great White Sharks a day on our visits to the Neptune Islands in South Australia, home of the Great
White Shark. We had a young couple out with the Adventure Bay team on Monday. The bloke had already been out with another local company that use chum and berley and was sceptical that this acoustic attraction worked. Fortunately his partner was not keen on the use of berley and baiting and decided to do our tour. It only took 15 minutes to see the first Great White Shark and the Shark played and hung around the boat and cage for about two hours. At the end of the tour, even he agreed that the behaviour was different and that the methods that we used worked and definitely kept the sharks around. He agreed with me, the skipper that it is a different experience and that he thought it was a more responsible method of attraction and in no way was it a less exciting or “cheaper” experience than what he had previously had. This is irrefutable proof and Adventure Bay Charters poses the question, “is there a better way of attracting Great White Sharks that doesn’t associate boats and humans with food/blood/berley”?! We will leave that for the scientists……….
More recent from Adventure Bay Charters is that our Swim with the Sea Lions tours have started up again!! For those early season swimmers, our first trip on Sunday was a cracker and the seals have obviously missed our crew… Stacey the dive guide got a few sideways “How you doin’?” looks from Mr Bubble, the resident beach master and quite few shy buzzes from some of the new young teenagers who love to play chase and tag. Trust me, brave the cool conditions and get out to enjoy this early spring season that has landed upon us.
Last of all, congrats to Hayley, who some of you would know from the office. She has now been with us a whole year, despite taking annual holidays after being with us for only one month, numerous approaches from the opposition to steal her away and an unfortunate incident with the toasties… by the way, those awesome toasties that you enjoy on our tours, you can thank Hayley – she is now a self confessed and awarded toasty chef – just ask her.
Whether it is I, Shaun, Stacey or Ben on the boat or Tracy, Hayley or Jeremy in the office have a good one and we will see you on the water soon.

I like that ElCapatane Matt is described as an all round good guy….I agree with this so he does not make me walk the plank (or shark dive sans the cage….)
